My Whipped Cream in California is Regulated!
I had no Idea you have to be over 21 to purchase a Can for a buck at Dollar Tree. I have bought many cans in my life, knew Nitrous is closely watched here but I was surprised the register asks for ID! ## Apparently whipped cream cans are a common source for nitrous oxide (which can be dangerous if too much is inhaled). I came across an older news article from CBS stating that actress "Demi Moore was reportedly hospitalized after inhaling nitrous oxide" Ref: cbsnews.com/demi-moore-reportedly-hospitalized-after-inhaling-nitrous-oxide-what-are-whippets Perhaps it was articles like this that caused stores to take a more preventative approach in the matter.
