B-6 Overview

Folic acid, another form of which is known as folate, is one of the B vitamins.[2] It is used as a supplement during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects (NTDs). It is also used to treat anemia caused by folic acid deficiency.[2] More than 50 countries require fortification of certain foods with folic acid as a measure to decrease the rate of NTDs in the population.[6][7] Long term supplementation is also associated with small reductions in the risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease.[8...

WHICH HAS BEST CHEMICAL CONTENT FOR B12 DEFICIENCY ## Well, I wouldn't use the term 'Chemical Content' exactly, but the FORM of Vitamin B12 that is best, according to some sources, is called Methylcobalamin B12. If you are having any neurologic problems, then Methylcobalamin is really a MUST- and there are some other benefits of Methylcobalamin. But it is a bit more expensive and if cost is an issue and you don't have neurologic problems, then any one is fine. Usually the least expensive brand is in the form of Cyanocobalamin. ## i feel numbness in my hands and feet every time i wake up in the morning. what would you suggest the best brand for a vitamin b supplement. thanks. ## Dear Sir My brother is sufferring from Leukemia since 4years. It is a round light green pill no imprints on one side and the other side has a light line across the middle and says APO on the top and B - 6 on the bottom. ## From what I could gather, a green, round, flat-faced, bevelled-edge, scored, compressed tablet, engraved "APO" over "B-6" on one side, contains Bromazepam (6mg). Nonmedicinal ingredients: FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, microcrystalline cellulose, cornstarch, D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake, ferric-ferrous oxide, lactose, and magnesium stearate. Bromazepam belongs to the class of mediations known as benzodiazepines. It is used for the short-term relief of symptoms of excessive anxiety. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Bromazepam Details I hope this info helps!

why is this prescription form of folate, B-12 and B-6 prescribed? Why not over the counter? ## Since you didn't provide a name brand or dosing, I can't be completely certain about this one in particular, but some of them are prescription only due to the amount of the vitamins that they contain. Some dosages aren't appropriate for someone that doesn't suffer a deficiency, as getting to much of some of them, especially B12 can be very dangerous. Learn more B vitamin details here. Round, green. Looks like bromazepam 6 mg. but no B-6, just a symbol that looks like it represents a nation. Smooth surface, unlike bromazepam, smaller slightly than br. pill. May be from Serbia. ## Sorry, there is no way to really ID a drug from this description, especially foreign ones, they are just not regulated as strictly as drugs in the US. ## White capsule with the word Stagesic in cursive
