Yellow Pill Told It Was Klonopin - Need Mg

Updated

The pill is round and yellow.
On one side there is nothing except a perforation in the pill where you could cut it in half.
On the other side there is a symbol of a ribbon (like the pink breast cancer ribbons) imprinted and under that the number 34
I would like to confirm if these are klonopins and what the mg is

Yes, R34 contains 1mg of Clonazepam, a generic for Klonopin, this is commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache.

You can read more on it here:

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Hi I am a different person than the original questioner. I was prescribed the generic of klonopin .5. It is a yellow pill. The instructions say I need to swallow it whole. I am in the process of tapering off of klonopin with my doctor's OK. To do so I have to cut the pill.

Is it OK to cut or break these .5mg generic klonopin yellow pills? I know the 1.0 mg white generic pills have a line in the middle and you can cut them there. However this is the .5 mg........I was told to taper off slowly only 2 percent for 14 days.

Can anyone tell me how to figure out 2 percent of 1.0 and how to cut one of the .5 mg tablets so that I'm taking off 2 percent? I'm going to try to get a liquid prescription but that is up to the doctor. For now I have a pill cutter and I would like to cut one of the .5 mg tablets so that 2 percent of the original 1.0 dose is being cut off. I am prescribed two .5 tabs per day instead of my original one 1. 0 tab, that was supposed to make it easier for me to start this taper.

Thank you. I'm not even sure I can cut the .5 tablet as the instructions say "swallow whole".

Thanks.

It is ok to cut or trim your pill any way you can. I think your best bet, aside from powdering your med, cut the. 5 pieces into 4 pieces?
.2 would be about 1/50th of one pill? You don't need a liquid version, and you don't want to drive your doctor nuts. You might need more med one day!
