Yellow Pill 783/99

I found this pill on the floor in my house, can someone please tell me what it is used for?

I found this on my teen floor as well. From what I am reading, it is used for depression I think it also has the side effect of losing weight, which is why some girls like it. That's all I know for now, but will investigate more and ask my daughter when she returns.

The marking on this tablet is actually 783 GG, it is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Methylphenidate, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD, and narcolepsy.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and anorexia.
