I need to know how long Xanax shows up in a drug screening?

Xanax....as well as most other pharmacuticles *spell check* will stay in your system for as long as 3 days.....but very seldom is it stengy and it takes up to 5 days.....

Actually, neither one of these are opiates, Melissa, they are something entirely different called Benzodiazepines, they are mainly used to calm nervous conditions and have a sedating effect.

An opiate would be a drug that relieves pain such as Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, or Morphine.

Xanax and Vicodin show up as different things Xanax is a barbituite spell check and is in the benzodiazapane (benzo) s are used to treat depression as we'll as anxiety while vicodinis a opiate such as morphine and is a heroin like substance .....to completely different families and anyone that tells u that they are remotly similar is ill educated in this field and could really...set u up for failair and yes the wait lose thing will show up as Meth ...so can sudafed congestion releif pills,aderol as well as riddlen ..so be careful

I have taken 1/2 of a blue Xanax for the last week. I have a drug screen a week from tomorrow. Will I be ok? I am in a methadone clinic, and had a death in my family, and messed up. Any help would be appreciated.

I am prescribed 1 mg of xanax per day for anxiety and sleep disorder. I have a drug test in 3 days (Dot 1000). Is this gonna be a problem?

Is a 3mg xanax the same as a 1mg xanax, other than the mg of course? Will it show up different in a drug test?

I have been taking xanax for 5 years I have to go in hospital in the UK for few weeks. I don't know what to say as u don't want to get in trouble, but worried as am sure they would need to know I am taking this drug? Not ideal. User from UK. Thank you in advance guys.

Since obtaining Xanax is only available by private prescription in the U.K, I would tell this Hospital & Doctors treating you. Make sure to bring some or have your private prescriber visit you. Withdrawal when in Hospitals or Jail can become very dangerous, life-threatening depending on the duration of your stay.
