Wysolone s a steroid, which contains a hormon called Cortizone. Usage of this may weaken the bones.

Please do not listen to this man.....if wysolone is being taken by the doctor's consultation then it has no side effects becuase your body needs Cortizone and your doctor knows better.

So in place of asking on the web , consult doctor and do not kill your family members or yourself by taking crap advices on websites.

You should gradually reduce the doses when u want to stop the drug. It could be serious side effect if u stop suddenly. Take a brief advise of ur veterinarian to reduce the dose.

What is Wysolone used for?

Wysolone tablets 5mg are a steroid medication used in wide range of inflammatory, allergic and immune disorders to suppress clinical symptoms of the disease. Amongst their many applications, Wysolone tablets 5mg are used to reduce inflammation in conditions where the immune system is overactive, like anaphylaxis, severe asthma, acute outbreaks of eczema and severe allergies; to reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system in autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, where the body’s immune system is directed against self, and to prevent rejection following organ transplant. Wysolone 5 is also used as an anti-cancer medication along with other drugs, to treat certain tumours like leukemia and lymphoma, and to replace a lack natural corticosteroid cortisol in conditions where there is not enough produced, such as underactive adrenal glands or congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which can affect the ability of the body to regulate blood pressure, blood sugar, energy levels, normal development and protect against stress.

I am 35 years old and a married woman, taking wysolone 5mg for the past 20 years. Now if I avoid taking even a single dose, I feel so tired with pain in my legs and bones. Is there any ayurvedic alternative to this wysolone 5mg tablet?

I am suffering from a nephrotic problem. My urine protein is 4+, so my doctor advised me to take 80 mg Wysolon per day. It is from 2012. Will that be ok to take? My eyes are often prone to cataracts. Please share your thoughts or opinions.

Hi. I have ulcerative colitis for which I'm prescribed Wysolone 10 mg (four tablets a day). I started taking the tablets 2 weeks ago. Suddenly my cheeks have started swelling, I feel more hungry than usual and also there is a rapid growth in my weight. According to my doctor I just need to take these medicine for another 2 weeks. My question is: Will I get rid of the side effects once I stop having Wysolone?
