It's cocodamol 8/500, boots own brand. I bought a box of them the other day and have two of them here.

I believe Crashoverride is correct, I found a cocodamol pill that matches your description. Here is some information I was able to find on this medication according to the United Kingdoms medicine website.

Active Ingredients:

codeine phosphate 8mg
paracetamol 500mg

Inactive Ingredients:

- maize starch
- povidone
- potassium sorbate
- microcrystalline cellulose
- stearic acid
- magnesium stearate
- talc
- pregelatinised starch
- purified water

Serious Side Effects:

- swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, lips or throat
- itchy, lumpy rash (hives)
- nettle rash (urticaria)
- severe stomach pain
- pancreatitis

Adverse Effects:

- constipation
- nausea
- vomiting
- dizziness
- light-headedness
- drowsiness
- confusion
- difficulty in passing water

I just got home from Belize and tried to fill a prescription for some Vicodin at a pharmacy there (I do have a US prescription for it) but they gave me round pills with BL on one side and a "broken score" | with an 8 on the other. Is this Co-codamol? I am guessing they thought that the hydrocodone (which is what I specifically asked for) is the same as Codeine??? I am hesitant to take this since I don't know for sure what it is.
