Sorry bro but codone is VERY addictive and you are VERY addicted to them. Trust me man, I spent years blowing through all my pill in the first week or two. There's nothing worse than spending 2-3 weeks in agony and withdrawals. I don't know how in god's name you can go through that every month.... I'd be in an insane asylum if I were still in that situation. Ask your doctor to switch you to Morphine... it may not get you as high as you're used to getting but it's a lot less addictive and they're usually a lot more incline to give you heavier doses and more pills. Try to get off them things bro... something bad is gunna happen if you keep doing things the way that you're doing them.

You ppl taking these for a tooth ache? really. you cant use a muscular pain med on a nerve issue. and the guy going threw 240 10mg pills, either is a liar, or a junkie. im guessing junkie.

Any narcotic pain killer acts the same way. They release endorphins to block the nerve receptors to stop pain. That's why it gets you so high and why it is so addictive. If you need that much medication to dull the pain you need surgery.

My doctor prescribed me Vicodin for my tooth ache. So yes, people can use them for tooth aches!

I can honestly tell you that morphine does not work on every person the same way, and sometimes a stronger medicine is not always what is needed. I took hydrocodone 5/500 mg 5 times a day for massive back pain after a near fatal car accident, in which I broke 44 bones and was paralyzed for 8 months. When I was finally able to start PT, it was excruciating, but I managed. Once released to go home, I was able to cope with pain, deal with my activities of daily living on my own, raise my kid, go to work, drive my truck...and then my Dr switched me to morphine twice a day , because "its safer and less addictive", it killed the pain completely, yes, but it also took away my "life" all I did was sat in the corner drooling and pissing my pants all day long. I had to hire someone to come in and take care of me, the state threatened to take my child [whom I was no longer able to care for] and I had to drop out of school [temporarily] because I was an invalid. That my friend, is no way to live. I have never felt "high" from my medication, but it does give me my life back and makes the pain far more bearable, although not completely pain free. I'm not saying its not addictive, but the ONLY side effect I had coming off it [even after being on it for 8 years] was being in debilitating pain again. No sweats, no tremors, no agonizing yearning for it, just the pain returning and unbearable. I took so much OTC medication that it caused Jaundice and they finally put me back on it, at the lowest dose available with a prescription. That said my doctor cut way back on how much they prescribe, due to worries about liver health. Now I get 5/300 mg hydrocodone and have to buy 200 mg tylenol to take with it. I have a great deal of chronic pain associated with damaged disks [slipped, ruptured, herniated, and bulging] as well as fibromyalgia and arthritis. I have found that by supporting my pain management along with healthy dietary choices and herbal supplements [like garlic and turmeric] helps some as well. I can honestly say, my pain is bearable, most days and even under control sometimes. Its not for everyone, and not everyone is as fortunate as I have been, not to build up a tolerance and require a higher dose over time, but for some people it truly is a godsend. Thanks for reading, I wish you the very best with everything.

yes if you are in real pain and you cant have marijuana then maybe you need oxycodone and morphine together like my old friend up the road BUT there are many people and doctors that are not legit and the DEA has to watch everyone like those crooked ones, the same as the driving and road laws, same as the whole team running laps for one players mistake, so the losers and dealers and people who end up with needles, there's a lowlife for you...then there's colorado :)

As well as marijuana can cancel out pain without killing you if you use it correctly... some people are stuck in bed and God make them better but there are way more that can get up and take motrin or do yoga or smoke and move their butts and not be lazy ... its 90% drug addicts and dealers pills, 10% real sufferers.... FACT !

Junkie us not a term used anymore to define someone with SUD. Substance Use Disorder. In the past "junkie" was referred to those that used a needle for drug use. False!! Pain meds, such as Percocet, Vicodin, morphine DO HELP with tooth pain. Dentists always prescribe them after dental work, in most states.

Demand they give you Percocet without Tylenol, works much better and you can take way more because there's no Tylenol. I had back surgery too and I needed 240mg Percocet daily, it was that painful! Nope, not a junkie and no longer on meds

Marijuana sucks. I watch people not pay bills, just keep buying more marijuana, better grade marijuana and are broke.
