I was not able to find a pill with the imprint that you described but searching for a pill with a 238 imprint led me to find a pill that I believe you are describing. According to this search on the National Insitute of Health's pill identifier [NIH Search Link] there is a amlodipine pill that has the imprint 238 and IG on the back, which could easily be mistaken for a 16.
