The tablet with the CR 500 and the Cobalt Laboratories logo on the opposite side contains 500mgs of the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin, which is used to treat various types of infections.

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

The tablet with the IP 111 on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Norco, which is a narcotic pain reliever.

Thus, it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

And there is some additional information that I am trying to get out to as many people seeking information on the medications that contain Acetaminophen as possible…

At some future time, the information for this IP 111 tablet will likely no longer be correct. The FDA has asked all manufacturers to lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these prescription products to no more than 325mgs per tablet.

They may still retain this logo and just change the amount of the Acetaminophen in the formulation, so please double check, before assuming that it still contains 500mgs.

All such changes are expected to be implemented by January of 2014.
