White 20mg Oxycodone R P 20

It's a fake pill on one side r p and 20 on the other side. This pill contains 500mg acetaminophen and 30mg codean ----- the side effects are dangerous so please please stop using it expecially men and women over the age of 50 STOP

What can it be if my back is hurting? It has burning pain from my neck and half way down my back.

The tablet with the RP 20 marking is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

As to Codeine with Acetaminophen, unless someone has liver damage, or liver failure, it is no more or less dangerous than Oxycodone, or any other opiate. If someone is elderly, over 60 or so, they may be more sensitive to it and could experience more side effects, but that doesn't necessarily make it dangerous for them to take. It just means their doctor needs to carefully calculate their dosage and monitor them regularly during use.

Alex, burning pain may be a symptom of nerve damage. Have you consulted your doctor to have it checked out, yet? Have you suffered any injuries? Are you on any medications?

I been taking oxycodone for my back pain. Been taking it for over 3 years and now when I don't take it my both legs from knee down hurt really bad the feelings are burning and can not sleep at all and I really do not want to take OXYCODONE any more and I don't know what to do. What should I do ?

No they are NOT fake. This person is giving false information. Such false info can cause even death. Why are they telling ppl that these meds are fake and telling them the WRONG types of medication? Is he trying to get ppl killed??? And this is not his first post saying a very dangerous pill is a completely different pill.

Have you tried injection therapy? That could be one option for you. I'm not sure the diagnosis on your back, or how long you've been taking pain meds for it, but there's stretches, shots, natural pain relief from a health food store as well as diet and weight management. I hope this helps in some way.

Have you had an MRI done,? It could be a pinched nerve, sciatica, several things that could be causing you pain. Hot baths help with my pain, I have 3 herniated discs, and spondylosythesis, I try to stretch, and warmth seems to help with my pain. I wouldn't cut or crush any medicine unless your Dr. Says it's ok, because some are time released and could really be harmful. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have taken most pain pills and a lot are very addictive... and honestly arent very effective. I found that tramadol works for getting rid of pain..it wont make u feel high, so if u are looking for that it won't. It works very well for pain. I think a few months ago they made it a narcotic?? I dont know why, but try it.
