Intagesic contains Dicyclomine and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, it is used to treat pain and intestinal hypermotility from conditions such as IBS.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

I have insomnia and have been attempting to break my dependence on benzodiazapines. I tried using an anti histamine from the chemist to no effect.
I found some Intagesic MR in the cupboard which I got from a pharmacy in india. I have used it for three nights now with three fantastic night's sleep! I'm assuming that the anti cholinergic activity is giving me such a lovely soporific effect. It also lists Diclofenac sodium in the ingredients, and so I don't want to use this drug long term due to the rubbish time you can have from chronic NSAID use, and I don't think I need the paracetamol either. Are there any drugs which are safe to use once or twice a week with the muscle relaxant activity as the sole effect?
