Can adcirca be prescribed for ED?

I am from Northeastern U.S. and found out the two drugs have the same active ingredient (Tadalafil), but Adcirca is prescribed for pulmonary disease while Cialis is for ED. Was wondering if they are actually the same but marketed differently.

Only difference is that maybe they pharmecutical companies can charge a lot more for adcirca, because i believe if it comes between spending money to save your life due to pulminary issues, you are more apt to be willing to pay more for those problems, than pay top dollar for erectile disfunction.

Yes, they are the same medication and can treat the same conditions.

As a matter of fact, if you look up Tadalafil, it lists both brand names and lists that it is used to treat PAH and erectile dysfunction.

There is no way to separate out the effects of the drug, so one brand name only treats one specific condition.

Actually, I have found out the reverse to be true - Adcirca is more expensive - from an Australian-only pharmacy Adcirca 20mg X 56 tablets cost AUD 940 (= 16.80 per tablet), while Cialis 20mg X 8 tablets cost AUD 195 (= 24.40 per tablet).
