What Happens If I Stop Usage Of Fentanyl Patch 75 Mcg And Use Oxycodone Cold Turkey

How long will it take to get the pain meds of fentanyl patch 75 mcg and oxycodone at least 40 mg to 60 mg daily, out of my system? It has already been 5 days and I am amazed that I am not sicker. I do feel bad enough but nothing like I know it should be. This was not a planned situation. I live in a remote area and just could not get to a place to purchase my meds. I have used oxycodone since 2006 for pain management after a fall. I had back surgery in May 2013 which was complex fusion with instrumentation and decompression on L2 to S1

If you mean to ask how long they'll take to be out of your system for purposes of a urine or blood test, that's one thing. (They don't have long half lives, compared to methadone or THC, btw).
But if you are concerned about combining other opiates for pain relief, that's another issue.
If you are not as sick as you expected, my guess is that the fentanyl is more slowly decreasing in your system, effectively "weaning" you off, and that's why you are feeling relatively fine. I can't think of another reason.

For ME, getting off the patches was easier than getting off the pills, partly b/c the pills gave me a 'buzz" and the patches do not. So there was less to "miss" with the patches' cessation, although the physical dependence is the same.

Fentanyl collects in fat cells . Oxy I don't know . Went cold turkey off fentanyl-soma-opana . Hell ride from the get go . 11 years of fentanyl and 1 year off I still feel ill . Everyone is different best of luck .

Hi omg I known ur post is a yr old. At that time u said u still feel sick after a full year. Omfg. U r scaribg the crap right outta me. It's now been 2 yrs. If u happen to actually see this. Would you mind telling me how u are nowadays. Also would u be able to explain exactly how that first year went. And preying your 2nd yr was much much better! !!
