Vyvanse Addict Already?

Updated

I've been taking street *not_prescribed* vyvanse 30 mg once daily *give or take, as some days, I'd wake up too late to take it* for about 8 weeks. At first I loved it, but now I'm not so sure. I'm experiencing extreme irritability, severe insomnia, nightmares, and some pretty debilitating panic attacks. I'm also concerned for my digestive system. I've dropped considerable weight...no thanks to normal bowels. Overall, I'm really starting to see the risk here and I think some encouragement from people that know where I am currently would really help. I've never been so productive and organized in my life. And things are finally starting to turn around for me and I'm petrified of losing that. Please help.

Hi Mandi,

Based on my research, what you are experiencing are side effects of this medication. As I'm sure you know, it's really risky to purchase medications off the street since they could be bound with all sorts of fillers and inactive ingredients that may cause serious reactions like the ones you're experiencing.

Were you prescribed Vyvanse at any point? Also, how long have you been dealing with these side effects exactly? It sounds like they are pretty serious since you mentioned that you have lost a lot of weight and are experiencing such horrible panic attacks. I personally don't recommend that you continue the use of this medication, it's pretty obvious that your body is having a negative reaction to it. I know it must be really difficult to let go since it seems to be providing benefits as well- but I believe that it's more important to be in good health, you have to decide what means more to you though.

In my opinion, sometimes you have to search deep inside yourself to find what's keeping you from being able to living the life you want without medication. I've gone through a lot and held myself back from so many opportunities in life, but I realized that all that negative energy comes from within and can be released with positive thought, an open mind, and deep self reflection. I don't know if you can relate, but I personally believe that meditation can be a great way to dig deep inside yourself and pull out dark energies, if you're open to metaphysical healing.

I hope my reply has been helpful in some way, please post back if you have any questions or comments!

seems all the cheaper versions of dextroamph are being discontinued and will not be available unless you can afford to pay three and a half times to cost of 10 mg tablets. why? my suspicion is government is deeply involved. imagine a drug addict winndow shopping at the drug store and unable to get a medicine that clearly helps because of a steep price increase. i suspect it is not greedy capitalists rather greedy know-it-all socialist elite planners. may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their first-born.
