Voverin With Opoids
UpdatedI have been on traditional American narcotics for more than 10 years to treat pain from advanced degenerative spine and arthritic spiny growths etc. in the spine. By now I am on TWO 75 mcg/hr Fentanyl patches changed every 2 days ( which works out to putting one on a day, yes.) I also had a prescription for the last TWO YEARS and approval for another 9 months for 800mcg Fentora ( a fizzy between the cheek and gum -- GOD! they really worked.) Well, I changed insurance at the insistence of the President and now I can't get the Fentora. Well, that leaves me desperate for relief. I can't afford a 100-150 dollar a day H habit, but NOTHING my doctor offers can help my peak pain. After being on the same dose of Patches for more than 3 years, a lot of that is just handling my addiction. I'm sure that someone never exposed to narcotics would die from two of them, but they only handle my normal 24 hr/day pain. My peak pain -- without the Fentora -- is just a screaming, clawing at my back, begging God etc. fit almost daily for a couple hours in the afternoon. Well, all my savings are gone and I HAVE TO work and soon. Will voverin added to my current meds ( I also have 8 10 mg hydrocodone with 200 mg ibuprofen a day. ( brand name, Repraxin, although my new O-----care won't pay for the brand name version. actually the say they pay for it, but it's less than my pharmacist pays his wholesaler so I can't have it.) Anybody here adding voverin to opoids with success or bad results or what?? Any warnings?? TIA, Steph.

This medication is just another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, so it would most likely have to replace your Ibuprofen, since it is also an NSAID.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
It may work better for you than the Ibuprofen, but the only way to find out is by trying it.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
