I have become habituated with taking trika tablets... What are the side effects?

Dr.Sudip Roy of Kolkata in Eastern Clinic prescribed me Trika .25 mg. I asked him for the side effects. He Said there is no side effects. He denied to let me know any info about other med. also prescribed. He said I have to take med what he prescribed. Otherwise I can go to other Docs. Is this how they Practice in India? I came from US. Never knew this to have a feeling like cow or goat before a Doc.
Where can I complain against him before it is too late to damage others.

I used to take libotryp-ds. Recently Iset abstain in my heart due to blokage. There after due to libotryp-ds DS my sodium and potassium level gone down due to that doctor prescribed me Trika- 0-25. Let me know the side effect

I experienced similar practice where my dr did not explain me the medication and why I need to take them. In the India, people generally do not ask questions. It's like you are questioning the authorities or disrespecting ur parents. It's cultural difference.

My wife took 2 trika 0.5mg pills on her first day of treatment. Is there any problem with this? Presently she is sleeping.

Hello pearl, if you are willing to try herbal there are few of them that really works i.e Valerian root, passion flower extract,really works good & not addictive as trika(alprazolam) with very less side effects, I actually prefer kanna ( Scientific name: Sceletium tortosum ) works good for depression, sleep, social anxiety, elevated mood . I suggest you to do some research on these magic herbals, I hope my info might help you,. But u must know herbals works different for PERSON TO Person . good luck

I'm taking trika since last five years, lm suffering from severe insomnia. I consulted a psychiatrist but by the medicine he prescribed I'm having severe constipation. Is there any other way to rid of this insomnia problem? Kindly help.

My grandmother is asking for trika .25mg twice daily. She is 65 and suffering from sleeplessness. The doctor has prescribed it for once daily. Should I give her the medicine?

Hi. I am a male, age 34, in good health and a fit body but am having difficulties sleeping for the past month as I get panic attacks. I visited a cardiologist and he prescribed me 0.25 mg zapiz and 12.5mg paxidep which I completed the course of in 10 days and after 1 week off from meds I started getting anxiety, but I avoided meds and was getting irregular sleep so I thought of visiting my family doctor a month ago and he said due to anxiety I was not sleeping well and he prescribed me 0.5mg solopose plus and 0.25 mg trika which I started taking and was having good sleep but when I searched for these meds on Google they were benzos with a risk of getting addicted. So I thought to taper it down slowly and it's been like 2 days since I've gotten good sleep on half a dose. On some days I take a full dose to cover my sleep and it's like playing games on my mind so I need help from u lovely people to guide me on to how to overcome these meds and get back into my previous lifestyle, and yeah I had defeated my anxiety, but the only problem is my brain doesn't want to go to sleep.
