Will Tramadol Appear Up In Urine Test?

I'm waiting to go on the Suboxone treatment program. I got hooked on the crap in jail. I'm a week or two away. From being legit, but have urine for parole. Will Tramadol mask the Suboxone till my legit script comes through? I've worked soooo hard to get my life back and kids.

Do you mean will the tramadol hold you over? It will at a high enough dose but suboxone slams your opoid receptors, so the dosage of tramadol necessary to hold say a 10mg a day dependance on suboxone may be enough to cause side effects and possibly seizures. Tramadol is anywhere from 1 to 2 times the strength of codeine although it has substantial ssni properties and can cause seizures at recommend doses, which will not exceed 400 mg a day. I currently take suboxone and was addicted to tramadol and vicoden before and would take up to 600 mg in a sitting. This is atypical and a single 50th dose should be used initially. If you react well to that you can slowly increase the dose until you are comfortable. Good luck with the suboxone treatment and with your new life with your kids :) One last thing about suboxone dosing. I am prescribed 12mg a day and take 4mg a day with better results. The reason that's suspected is that huge suboxone doses fill all your available opoid receptors as suboxone or bupernorphine is a partial opioid agonist meaning it can get you high to a point and then will stop where as a full agonist will continue to fill opoid receptors indefinitely. Bupernorphine is unique in that it can only fill so many receptors and then is full, a good way to think about it is to think of a cars fuel tank and imagine filling a car today and putting the same amount of fuel into your car tomorrow without driving anywhere. All the extra gas would be a waste as it spilled out the tank. Suboxone will fill your tank fast at high doses but rather slowly at low doses. Examples of low doses are dosages under 2 mg's.
