Tramadol 377 - Inferior, Useless Generic

I have been on tramadol for many years, usually the Mylan brand ( a round flat pill with an M on one side and T7on the other). I have never has any issues, It has always worked well with no problems.

Last month, my pharmacy switched to a horrible cheaper generic ( a larger capsule shaped pill with 377 on it, made by Caraco. I started noticing that i was in increasing amounts of pain and had other issues. It was making me miserable and upset. I asked my sis who had gotten the same kind (377) of inferior tramadol if she was having problems too and was having the same issues. We both returned the defective tramadol to the pharmacy and got our regular brand and were back to normal within hours.

So PLEASE be aware that 377 tramadols by Caraco are NOT the same quality as others. i would avoid them at all cost. Other tramadol generics work fine for me but the Caraco 377 trams might as well be made of chalk for all the good they do. So check your script before you leave the pharmacy and refuse to accept the tram 377s if that is what the pharmacists tries to give you.

I just switched Pharmacys and omg I have been dupped too at least for the month until next refill !!! The Tramadol is from Carraco manufacturing (377) they are really bad . I can't feel a difference in my pain management, I have been dizzy I mean really dizzy not just normal dizziness from side effects. My legs are killing me etc...I thought it was all in my mind because usually I get tramadol from cvs which is the
Teva manufacturing. (My favorite by all means. ) Anyway I will definitely never use these again I mean , I have not taken too many for all the side effects that I am getting... It is hard to tell what is in them or if it will kill us. I don't trust them. Just sayin yo anyone else who hasn't tried this brand. Don't take them unless you absolutely have to !! And to anyone who claims all meds are the same just made by different manufacturer is full of themselves, because I know for 100% sure these little pills are very different.

All manufacturers appear to use a different set of inactive ingredients for each and every one of their medications. Based on my research, I find this to be one of the main reasons why people have such different reactions; even though they think they are taking the same medication.

My advice as a paying customer would be to stick with the one manufacturer that you know works well for you and ask your Dr. to call it in and/or write that particular manufacturer's name on the script so that pharmacists can know ahead of time what they need to fill. Without the Dr's. collaboration with the pharmacy, your bound to get whatever they have left in stock at that moment.
