Taking 50mg Tramadol With 40mg Oxycodone

can I safely take 50mg tramadol with 40mg oxycontin?

There is no way anyone here would be able to provide a reasonable answer to that questions. You should consult with your doctor to see if it is OK because everyone is different.

That said: so long as you stick to the prescribed dosage of each, you *should* be OK.

Are there any other medications you are currently taking, including over the counter medications or herbal medicine?

Also, alcohol should be avoided while taking those medications.

Don't mix anything with Tramadol. Especially narcotics. Never !! I dont care what anyone says dont do it. There are certainly other drugs that can be taken with Tramadol but Narcotics like Oky as you mention. No way ! It's just not worth the risk. Pick one or the other but not both.

As Darwinski stated, it can vary from person to person.

They can both be taken together, as long as your doctor has prescribed them both, and warned you to watch for any possible overdose danger signs, such as severe dizziness, somnolence, trouble breathing, and lowered heart rate.
