It is called cytotec. It can be useful but only if you go to a planned parenthood or another clinic in time to get the proper medication. If you get cytotec by itself and try to do an abortion at home, it only works some of the time and can cause extreme abdominal pain and cramping, cytotec is a drug they use to help induce labor when you are in the hospital about to have a baby. It starts contractions.
If you go to planned parenthood they give you RU486 which is 2 pills. To have an abortion which you take and the fetus will come out in your urine.
If you get cytotec at home, and take it, it's different, you have to insert 8-10 pills into your vagina and lay still. Then within a few hours you should have terrible pain and contractions and then pee the baby out, it's dangerous because it does not always work especially if you are 8 weeks along.
Go to a clinic. Or a counselor.

I hate to sound stupid, but how on earth could you pee a fetus out? It sounds impossible to me. No one should be trying to do this at home by herself anyway. Go to a clinic and don't risk harming yourself.

my freind take cytotec3times at home coz she want to abort her baby but the baby not remove then shes suffered bleeding up to the present what she have to do.

I had unprotected sex during my fertile period (i didn't know until a few hours ago when i looked it up on an online ovulation calculator), but i took 4 nordette pills within 24 hours and i was supposed to take another 4 after 12 hours which i missed. i took another 4 nordette pills 19 hours after 1 took the 1st dose then another 4 pills after 12 hours of taking the 2nd dose. it's just been over 24 hours after my last unprotected sex. i'm just afraid that because i missed the dose nordette won't work. how soon will i know if i'm pregnant (heaven forbid) ?

Hi I took cytotec during my 5weeks but unfortunately I had failed abortion. Now I after ultrasound I decided to keep the baby.
