Am a 32 years old lady and recently caused a miscarriage with CYTOTEC and am still bleeding after 4 weeks. Please I will be glad if you can help me with any advise because I need help seriously.

By now, your situation has been resolved one way or another. However, for the sake of those who read your question, I will tell you that Cytotec can cause a pregnant woman to bleed to death. It stops the woman's hormone that controls her bleeding. It is extremely dangerous. If you are bleeding heavily after taking Cytotec, see a doctor immediately. It may help to take some cayenne (red hot peppers) or to get some in food, on a regular basis. I recommend no pregnant woman ever take Cytotec because of the damage it can cause. It can also cause toxic shock syndrome, which is an infection that can kill a woman within hours, and it can cause a woman's uterus to rupture. It's not worth it, and women deserve better.

Since I am loathe to see anyone possibly being scared away from what was mentioned in Pat's post, I would like to add some more details.

Yes, when someone takes Cytotec to end a pregnancy, there are possible risks associated with doing so, but such occurrences are rare and are not experienced by the majority of people that use it.

And the same can be said for any medication or medical procedure, even if someone were to a have a surgical procedure.

It shouldn't be used without a doctor's approval and supervision, but even if the doctor was watching over someone constantly, the risks and benefits remain the same.

As to the Sylate, it contains Ethamsylate and Tranexamic Acid and it is most commonly used to help slow or stop bleeding.
