Dear Sir,

I am 32 years ol and i am having the pregenancy of 8 months, My gyne doctor prescribed Susten 200mg capsule from 4th month of pregnancy and side by side she is giving me the injection Hucog 5000 for the growth of Child. I am a diabetic patient and I am taking the Insulin 40units in Morning & 22 Units in Night. While taking this much of dose my sugar level is goes on increasing after the completion of 6 month ie 165-220(Fasting) & 180-203 (Random). Plz. advise that is due to the susten200 or Hucog5000Injection. Plz. give me Ur valuable advise asap.

Susten is generally used for women who have some sort of Progesterone Deficiency, this can affect their abiility to get pregnant.

Some doctors use it to ensure that you do not develop a deficiency.

During pregnancy, it is given to support a healthy pregnancy, by ensuring that you have enough of this hormone.

Taking it as vaginal insertion would be more beneficial than taking it orally. Oral intake may lead to nausea and vomiting. More over vaginal insertion may help to easier absorption of the hormone.
