Well, I fell fortunate hearing some of the problems you all are having. The ONLY symptom I have from the meds is I am sore to the touch. It even hurts for the chair to touch my legs when I am sitting down. And my calves are also hurting. I have been taking this w/ a meal and ALOT of water like it said to and I have not had an upset stomach or stomach pain. I am taking 2 a day for 5 days, and tomorrow is my last day. I consider myself very lucky after reading your alls side effects. I hope you all are feeling better.

I'm taking this medication for a bladder infection and, thankfully, I haven't had any symptoms, I eat half a hour before I take the medicine. Drink a ton o' water. But this is only day three so hopefully I stay lucky with no side effects.

I was prescribed this drug for a UTI infection from the hospital. I developed rashes on my arms and ankles/feet. I looking up the warnings/precautiones for the drug on various medical sites and found out all the warnings stated STOP TAKING IF RASH OCCURS BECAUSE THIS COULD BE A SIGN OF A SERIOUS ILLNESS. So I am going to stop taking it until my doctor comes back from vacation. The infection seems to be already cleared up though and I have about two more days of the pills left. If you have ANY serious side effects or are unsure, call your doctor!

Oh and I meant that the rashes could become worse and develope into a serious illness

I started taking this pill about a week ago maybe a week and a half ago for chronic sinusitis. The only side effects im noticing is being tired, nauseous, and getting hungrier faster. Im not entirely sure if it is curing the infection or not but I will know by Tuesday if it's working.

Taking it 2x day for 10 days for possible staph infection. The first day, I experienced brief nausea after taking it. Since then. no problems.

took one sulfamethox tm at 7 pm last night, felt very warm, anxious. This morning I still feel warm no hives. Can I take benadryl for warm sensation or Advil

Started taking the sulfameth/tmp ds tab for possible staph infection 2 pills every 12 hours its the 7th day and i forgot to take a dose and i have a rash on my upper arms and and random places on my body

I HAVE BEEN TAKEING SULFAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP DS TABITP. THE PILL ARE SO BIG HARD TO SWOLER I FEEL TIRED ALL TIME I HAVE 40 PILLS TO TAKE I WILL BE GLAD WHEN THEY ARE GONE, I GESS IT WORKS BECAUSE MY ROAD RACH IS HEALING.

Was prescribed this for a UTI infection. I had no side effects of a bad uti and apparently had food poisoning a day before. It is making me terribly nauseus, shaky, anxious, and hot. I wonder if I need to call the doc to stop taking it or can I stop on my own?

took this medicine for a infection in my throat. On 4th day of medication, started feeling worse, throat hurt more and was swollen, felt tingling all over, backache, earache, tingling in chest was signifacant, and lower back pain, also rapid heart beat, felt like I was running a marathon, especially at night. I will not take this medicine ever again, feel way worse now than before.

My doctor prescribed this medicine for me to take 1 pill every 12 hours for 11 days. I have to say that this pill works amazing at stopping the infection but just as everyone else says it makes you VERY shaky, even twitchy. I've been nauseous ALL day everyday but I can never vomit and its also been giving me nightmares as well. I'm just glad I only have 9 more days :[

Taken it 3 days now for inner ear and sinus infection. Had a slight stomach upset after the first dose. But have had no problems since then and can tell the ear infection is getting better already. Possible side effects mean possible, wont happen to everyone.

OMG yes if you have an alergic reaction to this it can be extreme. Took me 8 months to recover from taking 4 days worth. Had right side peralisis, facial tremmers and was sent to the hospital for an MRI in fear of me having a seigure or a stroke. This medicine is nothing to mess around with. If you have a reaction from day one stop taking it. I also got such a bad case of candida that I still fight with it and it's been a year now. I am lucky it did not kill me.

I was prescribed SULFAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP D after being diagnosed with UTI. After 14 pills I still couldn't pee without a tremendous amount of straining, and then only drops -- no flow. In desperation, as the clinic was closed for the weekend, I bought an over-the-counter product called AZO. I began peeing for the first time in a week after a couple of pills. What a relief!

Prescribed this "horse pill" yesterday afternoon for an infected lower right leg, which I banged up on the corner of our dishwasher last Sunday. Taken 2 so far. No noticeable reaction. Rx . . . Take 1 tab twice a day for 10 days. So far, so good. I'm 74.
