Susan, if u wanna give helpful information it's one thing, but for u to keep hammering him for asking a question that he needed help with, who the f*** are u to belittle him and keep talking s*** to him. You ain't f***in God, u have no right to judge anyone. I read all your comments and u should be ashamed of yourself. I'm a recovered addict myself and I understand your thoughts not wanting him to go back and use but you can say it in a different way. Your comments were just straight disrespectful, arrogant and ignorant. You need to check yourself. I don't know who died overnight and made you God but check yourself chick because we all make mistakes. Seems like you got more recovering to do than he does. Work on your recovery because you damn sure ain't close to fully recovered when you're still judging people for making a mistake. We all once in awhile might relapse. How dare you. It's people like you who bring people down.

I took methadone for 3 weeks and now on suboxone for 4 days. I'm doing physically fine but still wake up mentally strange with little anxiety and negative mindedness, little phobia slight headache, still not 100 percent happy. Confident or sense of independence, I am on 1mg azor which mentally dont seem to be helping. What can I do as its my first time after 5 years of taking H that I quit, any advice??! Desperate

Hey justin6, my name is brit aka bert, but 5am i would say from experience of doing the same, 9-10pm, but it's a lil risky id say, also because it being that time 9pm you'd be better off sleeping thru it that way. (1) - you'll definitely feel something and (2) - you'll have a dose for when u wake up. All addicts know we love to wake up an have a dose there waiting for us. Send me a reply any time. I know a lot about subs, opiates and much more drug info.

Suboxone is a way of getting control and stability back. Has the chaos and madness of heroin life evaporated from your memory? It's there waiting for you and it's only about 16 hours away. The worst feeling is that you know what is waiting. It only gets worse.

He literally just wanted to know what would happen and instead of him going at it blind sided he's asking the internet for help. He's not trying to get pitty or anything, just wants to do what's safe! But the shortest to wait is 4-8 hours buddy.

Thank you Dr. For giving this person the correct information. As you and I know, the ultimate choice of using an opioid is that of the user no matter how much someone has "preached " to them. I hope this person is not using alone and has a Naloxone Kit with them and knows how to use it.

So today I took an 8mg suboxone before work. I got off at 10 went and got 1 gram heroin and was home by 11. I injected about .1 gram and felt it pretty well. I got a nice rush. Not 100% but still worth it. It was very high quality though and I'm sure that makes a difference . I'm male, 6'3" and 205 lbs.

I've waited 21 so far and plan to wait as long as I can. Ill let you know, My Dr. would not call in a refill of subs , so it is what it is.

Thank you that was exactly my problem i took the sub too soon kepttrying taking pieces and was still sick uggg way worse than i was i started at 7:30 a.m. waited hour and half did a little more like a 1/4 waited took a 1/4 more waited nothing did my last around noon took a total of 2 8mg bupe/2mgnalox suboxone strip was feeling really bad still at around 4:30 i couldn't take it anymore and was afraid to do more sub so i just did a pill sized line of H not fent it was H and the withdraws are gone i have a belly ache but i haven't eaten all day due to being sick i do feel it some what not like i normally do but I'm not sick anymore. To the lady's saying we care thank you cause one problem with people like us not alot of people care not always because of the drug use but is the cause of their use like myself but we're going to do it no matter what anyone says we come on here for harm reduction opinions and/or facts i did because i felt like i was dying oh and i started out just like you i took it for pain i had no coverage for surgery just doctors. Then they all started doing illegal stuff then all the sudden you're doctor is gone and you have no choice but to turn to whatever because now you have no insurance. Then having no one to support and help you to quite cause your a single mom yes i know she should be my reason but I'm am addict remember. Her father dead my parents are passed his parent's are passed no siblings i struggle every day to pay my bills and support my whatever. Can't go to rehab cause i have no one to help with my child i try to quit but can't afford to miss not one days work to being sick and believe me when your sick you can't move only to throw up or poo your self while your violently shaking and sweating and cold chills so you try and it doesn't work so you go on line to figure out what you can do to not be sick and what people's experiences are so i do wake up tomorrow to be there for my daughter thank you for caring but it's just not enough. Again i thank you to the person who answered cause i don't feel like I'm dying right now because you answered the question and i could move on and these nice people won't know anything about me or my life after this so why care when you'll never even know.

Listen, all u people need to back off ok. They got the right to do what they want. I'm in chronic pain, lost my doctor cause of people mistreating drugs and started with a suboxone doctor but IDK still if someone wants to feel high they will no matter what is said by anyone, especially a judgmental stranger on some website. He didn't ask what u f***ing think, he asked if it'll hurt him and yes it can. Hell, I know people who took 16mg and then had opiates 4 hours later and they said they felt it a bit. Drugs are 50% mental.

Wait until you start to feel withdrawal.

I was a pillhead for over 10 years after the Army.

It wasn't until I stopped blaming the doctor for prescribing it to me, and the Army for blowing me tf up, that I was able to stop seeing myself as a victim. That's when I made the decision to quit. I wish you the best. Mixing subs too soon will just ensure you wasted your medicine. For sure.

I would wait at least 6 to 8 hours you do not want to counteract it will be very bad trust me I've done it a few times it kicks you into precipitated withdrawal very badly you will be sick beyond belief
