This is a 50mgs Tramadol tablet, a generic for Ultram. It is considered an opiate.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness.

I am NOT a fan of Tramadol! It landed me in the hospital, I had a grand mal seizure from it. All I wanted was to take something other than percocet or vicodin for my herniated discs. The dr told me I'm better of taking 1 of them instead of Tramadol. Please be careful!!

I'm a recovering opiate addict and my Dr. described it as "non narcotic" and now I read its classified as an opiate? Great, so I can expect withdrawl symptoms when I stop?

I also landed in the hospital from taking ultram but it was because my dosage was to high. now that my dosage is lowered everything is ok and I have been on them for four years now.

It is a non narcotic. You won't have withdrawals from it! I told my doctor i wanted a pain medication that wasn't addictive and he prescribed these to me.

No they are very addictive some say worse than an actual opiate. I have been on it for 2 years now and I am very dependant on them. They will not help you recover. I promise you that. I'm speaking from experience. I've never been addicted to anything and I freak out if I don't have any. Withdraw is horrible serious cold sweats bad headache lightheadedness stomach problems muscle spasms the first day or two all you want to do is sleep after that no sleep for the nect few days. I'm telling you dude stay away from this s***. My dr and I have decided to just get the surgery and get the hell off of these things. Sadly I cant take opiates my body just doesnt like them so this has been my only option and I hate it. So seriously just stay far away.

I'm gonna make this story short. Tramadol is not a pain killer. It was prescribed to me when I got my wisdom tooth removed. They say it's narcotic and that all bulls***. I finished taking all my tramadol and the pain wouldn't go away. Tomorrow I'm going back to dentist that now im getting earache on the side they remove my wisdom tooth. Tramadol its not a controlled medication narcotic. I was taking 600 mg a day and nothing happened. People this is not tramadol. I called them candy. I'm here in my bed with an ice pack on my chin, swollen and painful. I'm going thru tomorrow. I'm going back to my dentist and will confront to him not to give me candy pills. Give me real pain killers not this piece of s***. I tried all tramadol. All they change are the numbers but all r the same. They don't do nothing. Wake up and smell the coffee and don't let no one wash ur brain. They're candy that screws up your liver. My gums are swollen and pounding taking tramadol for 7 days. 600mg and don't do nothing. Tomorrow im seeing my desist and am going to b**** him out cuz im the one suffering and im tired of this s*** and pains. (Tramadol is a candy) and thats all I have to say. Have a nice day and good luck.

Depending on how long you have been taking them I have withdraws from them when I don't have any. I take them to basically live without them I have no energy and no strength due to my heart problem. So with tremodol I can continue working, play with my grandkids and just live life.So I take the chances with the withdraws. But you.your doctor is so wrong for not telling you that they are narcotic I'm a recovering addict and also The tremodol helps me with the graving for drugs by taking all cravings and desires away no lie that is the truth for me now everyone is different but just food for thought

It IS labeled as a narcotic by the DEA, it changed this yr or last. Some info on it says it's "narcotic like" which is what i agree with, it only works for me in high doses. You also CAN have some withdrawal symptoms, everyone is different, so the symptoms vary.

After a bad accident over a decade ago, my doc gave me tramadol. Said it was non narcotic, however when I ran out due to insurance issues I was sick as a dog. Side note, I had facial tremors and ticks due to being prescribed 8 per day. Hydrocodone has been my and my doctors go to since, with no issues. And the once I withdrew due to a holiday wknd it was no where near as bad.

I also took one Tramadol around 5.00pm and at 5.30pm I had a grand mal seizure with a serious concussion. That was the first and last Tramadol for me.
