I agree too, Sinutab was the only sinus medication OTC that took care of a headache. Why on earth would they allow a marketing decision take it off the shelf when so many people benefited from their product. How DUMB!!!

I'm a Canadian & you can only purchase it in Canada. I've been it the States for awhile & have yet to find anything close to it. If you know anyone there they can more likely send you some. If not It's a nice visit.

Sinutab was the best. I just used my last pill today. Best idea is to buy in Canada or The equivalent in Europe. Sinutab- it took the pain away.

Hi all, here is an update. I contacted Johnson and Johnson the manufacturer here in Au. They told me that there were 2 medications, Sinutab and Sudafed. In short they have removed sinutab but REPLACED it with Sudafed. Now NOT the one you see on the pharmacy shelves you have to ask for it and show your licence. There are 2, Pain, Sinus and allergy this is the same as what sinutab use to be ! and there is Pain and Sinus. Because I already take Zertec every day (antihistamine). I was told to buy the Pain and Sinus version which is what I have done. So far I've only taken it once BUT IT WORKED. Just remember you DONT want PE. Ask for the one that is S3. This means it is behind the counter and you must show a licence to purchase it. Hope this helps someone.

I am in Canada and have not seen sinutab for a couple years. I am always looking for it when I get sick, and could use some right now! It just worked. Now I am stuck buying a million things that never really work...my guess is they were bought out by competitors so consumer's like us would have to continually pay out more money for products that don't quite do the job... Smart marketing I guess...

I have been looking for sinutab for a long time. It is the only thing that works for me. I wish that would reconsider and began manufacturing it again.

I have been looking for Sinutab on and off for years whenever my sinus pain flares up. I use to use it quite a bit in my younger days. This was the ONLY pill that helped with the pain. I have tried many substitutes but unfortunately nothing has come close. If anyone knows anywhere I can get it, please share. Thanks!

I emailed the company and they said it was a marketing decision. They would pass along my message. I cannot imagine why they would quit making it and selling it when so many people were using it and it helped. I don't understand these suitband tie bureaucrats.

The original, working Sinutab was white with a pink layer on one side. It is the best sinus cure in the world. However, the sinutab contained codeine which is banned in the USA. Therefore you can't buy it here or import it. I lived in South Africa for many years and some people got hooked on it by taking it every day.
With the new USA laws about importing or being in possession of Opioids I don't think you can even buy it overseas and bring it back with you.

Re: Noreen from NYC (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

I think it's disgusting that mfg of SINUTAB discontinued it and even changed the label of other sinus decongestants to call them Sinutab even though these decongestants do not contain the original ingredients of Sinutab. I ordered 20 of the last Sinutabs in about 2008. Be relieved that the ingredients in Sinutab are being sold under a different label...EQUATE. Since equates sell several types of decongestants, you have to find these ingredients: acetaminophen + phenylephrine + HCL. These were the original ingredients of Sinutab. Also the caplet color for this is red and green. I buy them at ACE Hardware. They are manufactured by Lnk International. See this link for the new image of the caplet with ingredients of the former Sinutab. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Rapid-Release-Sinus-Congestion-Pain-Relief-Gel-Caps-48-Count/14122822
