Seroquel Tests Positive For Benzo

I take 400 mg.of Seroquel daily. I'm required to take 3 drug tests weekly and they continue to test positive for Benzo's despite the fact that I take NOTHING but Seroquel. I'm about to get kicked out of my housing for this false positive. Can anyone HELP!!

Tom, would it be possible to get a doctors note or a pharmacists note explaining that you are being prescribed Seroquel ? Good luck man!

If you are being honest with them and yourself, I agree you NEED to get verification from your prescriber (DOC) to verify . They will know.........

I have had the same thing happen to me recently. I got kicked out of my halfway house because they said my urine test came up positive for benzos and I have not taken any benzos but do take serequel to sleep at night. What gives???

Is there any cost relief available for Seroquel? My wife depends on this medication and now with ACA coverage our out of pocket is over $650/mo. With both of us on social security this can't be covered.

i just get off Seroquel two months ago I was also being treated depression i was on Seroquel for five years I have trouble sleeping raceing positive through my mind it is hard to sleep i was on some type of psychiatric medications for 35 years I am no longer mental illness taken off the medications Seroquel help thank you

The drug you are talking about is a form of benzodiazepines. It is made to calm the mind but not be like a benzodiazepam that flushes out of your body in hours that's why usually the dose is once a day for a lot of people of course every situation is different.

Do a Google search on it and you will see it is a form of benzodiazepams and if this is an issue between you and your doctor I suggest you print this information out and submit it to them to read up on. Best of luck.
