I am trying to find information about the use of saboxil (a.k.a. seboxyl) for treatment of chronic pain when opiods have created a tolerance problem.

I believe the medication you may be referring to is Suboxone, which contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine. It is used to treat severe pain and drug addiction.
It is a very powerful opiate and is only used to treat pain, when all other options have been exhausted.
It carries some of the same side effects as other narcotics, including: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
You can read more about it here:

Was there anything else I could help you with?
