Round Pill With Cdn On One Side 20

I have figured out it is a generic OxyContin I have chronic nerve pain caused from a bulging disk I am wanting to work until I see a surgeon in a couple of weeks and taking this pill I can handle it! My question is how often can I take this and will my disk problem get worse if I continue to stand and do light work? I really want to work as long as I can

Oxycontin is usually only taken every 12 hours, since it is a time released formulation of Oxycodone, which is a very potent narcotic.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

There isn't any generic oxycontin since early 2012, they ALL were removed from pharmacies by the FDA for the new "OP" on one side "#mg" on the other side of pill, their more tamper resistant and don't last more than 8 to 9 hours, not 11 to 12 hours like the original formulation. The ones now are the 3rd formulation and I have to take 10mg percocets to fill the gap between doses. I take the 60mg since it's release on the second formulation.
