The pill which you are describing is Clonazepam (1 mg); which is a benzodiazepine derivative with highly potent anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and anxiolytic properties.

I'm prescribed suboxone from one Dr but I have an appointment with another Dr to get on klonopin without the suboxone Dr knowing. he's all about treatment but every time I mention anxiety he goes on like he doesn't hear me. so my? is will each Dr know about without me telling and will my sub Dr kick me out for seeing another shrink.(and is it illegal? )

More than likely, yes. If you don't disclose it to the suboxone Dr. Only certain Dr's can prescribe Suboxone and you will likely sign a contract stating you agree to only be seen by that one doctor, and agree to only go to one pharmacy. If they pull your DOPL randomly (which they do) to check on you and see you're getting another controlled substance somewhere else, they will drop you. Just be honest with the sub doctor that youve tried to bring it up but it doesnt seem to get addressed. They are both safe to take together IF taken as directed (Hours apart, low dose) and it's not as controlled as Xanax so you show no signs of addiction to them or drug seeking behavior... if you were looking for Xanax 2 mg's that would be a red flag. I am currently on Percocet 7.5/325 4 x/day, Adderall XR 30 mg 1x/day, Soma 1 at bedtime if needed (rarely, I have 3 full bottles of that stuff), Ambien 10 mg 1 at bedtime, Atenolol 25 mg one in the morning, Xanax IR 1mg 3x daily for GAD management. I have been debating on the Xanax xr version but not sure if insurance covers it. I just found out my Adderall XR is covered ONLY as a name brand of Shire , who produces Adderall and used to be brand name for the IR version.. but now that theres so many generics they've bowed out. Speaking of Generic... if anyone else is on Adderall and its the IR 20 mg version and you're given Octogan shaped white pills.... BEWARE! They are terrible, cause headaches and do not work that well or long. you WILL run out. The brand is Minkinko something or other I think... steer clear! In my experiene, Barr is the #1 generic followed by EON But it's getting harder to find. CORR is the most common. It gets the job done but doesn't last very long so be prepared to have a couple of spacey hours in the day. Adderall XR name brand is a God Send.. 1 pill a day and I take it at 6 am and I get home at 7 and its barely starting to let me down off of them so it wors out gooo :)

I've been taking Suboxone since 2004 when they came out, if you read the pamphlet inside the box it says that mixing it with any sort of benzo will slow your heart rate down to the point where you can pass out and not in a good way. So the doctor technically shouldn't prescribe both of those at the same time that's why your doctor ignores you when he hears you say anything about anxiety, you might give you a BuSpar that's about it

Wow!!. Well my Suboxone Dr is the same way when it comes to any controlled substance, She will not write out nuerontins, Fierocets and Absolutely No Benzo's at All !!!. And it's hard to find a Family Dr that will write anything like that once they actually find out that I'm going to a Suboxone Dr .. It's crazy !!

Re: moneymaker (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

Where do u live? These are all the meds i take. I'm epileptic and I take klonopin for the seizures with the neurontin as a double use bc I also have neuropathy. I take half a sub each day and have no sub Dr bc of the klonopin or xanax in my system, bc my reg Dr cut me off of the klonopin which I had been on 4 yrs before being on 90 1mg Xanax. Well I'll be 35 in April and was out on Xanax at 14. Can barely go into public without major doses and I now have the blue e 64 klonopins, and nothing is helping. Are those junk? From what I've read so far generic suppliers can take away fillers or even the med itself. I've never ever had this issue. Any advice since I'm stuck with them? They were supposed to last me until friday. Maybe my tolerance is just too high for this brand, but also I have a white Xanax bar (took 3 doses today). They are the cheap ones with the word "Xanax" on 1 side and a big "2" on the opposite which I have noticed they are junk.

Re: KP (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

I get suboxone and klonopin rx, so I think they give will prescribe it if you have been sober for 2-5 years and you have lots of panic attacks.

Re: brn (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

At the methadone clinic we cannot take any form of benzo drugs w/out a prescription. Then with a prescription, we're allowed 80 mg of methadone. IDK how this works out with suboxone tho. It's really frowned upon @ the methadone clinic; It's mean if you give a dirty UA for benzo's while on methadone - you could get the boot. Best case scenario is to have a script for the benzo's & then get on methadone. Worst case scenario is to give a dirty UA (of course) or weasel in your own clean wee; and be very careful, back to cameras, etc. Or however U can jerry rig it to protect yourself...
