Rights Of Pain Patients
UpdatedI have been taking 40 mg of methadone and 10 mg of vicodin for eleven years. I suffer from adhesions and have had twenty six syories. My pain doctor cut my methadone to two five mg for thirty days with twenty mg of perocet. I had one methadone left due to going out of state and had an unforseen extended stay. I took the methadone, when I was given a drug panel my pain doctor said it did come up and he reduced my meds to one 5 mg percocet. I suffer terribly now and my family also suffers. Is there no one on the side of people with real pain ? Do we have no course of action for people who truly suffer, if we band together against FDA and DEA could we be heard? We all know there is a serious pill problem in this country but we are not all pill addicts. Why do we always attack the surface of the problem and not the root issues. There are deeper reasons people abuse pills, why can't we address that instead of taking meds away from everyone. This one for all justice is no justice for anyone. All its doing is turning people to the street and what does that solve. Anyone who truly suffers with pain as I do will do anything to find some relief. We need to accept there are problems but we are not all drug store junkies. Stand up people, take back your right to live with some expectation of getting out of bed the next day.
