Regumen 5mg
UpdatedHi.. I have regular periods, every 26-27 days. Last month I had a very stressful job which affected my cycle and just got my period on day 32 (oct 31). I'm going on holiday from nov 24 - dec 9, so my gyn prescribed me 5mg norethisterone tablet (regumen), to be taken twice daily start from day 19 (nov 18) until the holiday ends. As I read in many articles, the dose needed for delaying period is three times daily start 3 days before expected date of period, and twice daily start from day 19-26 to treat irregular bleeding. Is my dose sufficient and effective? I'm very afraid of the side effects.. (Are there possible? Such as spotting, acne, swelling ankles, bloating, headache, etc). I'm 44, 5'1", 108 lbs, doing exercises regularly 3 times a week, never on a pill. Thank you.
