Refilling My Valid Xanax Prescription Early (Page 7)

I only see one doctor and he gives me a 3 month supply of xanax. When I went the last time he wrote me out a prescription but I still had two refills. I had a friend and her husband passed away and I gave her some of mine thinking I would have no problem re-filling the prescription. I had sense enough not to go to the same pharmacy and not to give my insurance information. So I go to this small drug store by my house and I had to fill out paperwork such as dob, name and my DL #. Well they paged me to the front of the store and advised me that it was 7 days to early for them to re-fill. So my question is where can I go to re-fill a prescription that is valid written by the same doctor. I only tried one place, I'm guessing they must have a data base if you try and refill your prescription early (even without your insurance) does anyone have advice on where I can go to get this filled?

Your body will build a tolerance to any benzo's after being on it for a while! It is extremely dangerous to stop the medication without tapering off under doctors supervision! You hand have seizures and die! I understand you became pregnant but you should have told your OBGYN! I was on Klonopin 6mg when I got pregnant was switched to 4mg Xanax until my 22 week and was put back on my regular dose of 6mg klonopin! Though a category D pregnancy drug your doctor must decide which is more detrimental! I have a healthy 9 month old girl who did not suffer any physical deformaties or neurological! She born positive for Benzo's but did not suffer withdrawals at all!

First of all, there is no need for all the exclamation marks!! Secondly, because of my high risk pregnancy I was under my dr's care. Did I say I wasn't? Did I give you my full life story? My full medical history? No. I know all of the risks of not tapering. And I know all the risks that were associated w my particular pregnancy. You don't. OMG, a seizure you say?? I guess I'd be the first person to have ever lived thru a seizure right? Sorry, as a mother I'd risk a seizure over permanent damage to my child any day of the week. Your child's nine months old right? Hmmm, better not comment until she's actually showing signs or problems in the future that can't be predicted. Just bc a baby pops out w 10 fingers and 10 toes doesn't mean **** to me.

As a neonatal nurse, I've seen the effects of baby's born addicted to Xanax. If you're willing to put your baby thru something like that for your own benefit, I'd hate to think what that child will experience with you as a parent throughout it's life. SMH

I guess you can't read either because I never said my child was born addicted to Xanax! I never even said I was on Xanax my entire pregnancy and as a so called Neonatal Nurse which I know your lying about you would know the effects of benzo's on a fetus! I don't need to wait till she's older because the medication I was on does not cause neurological problems! You are the i**** that not only put your life at risk as well as your unborn child by stopping the medication cold turkey! Your 5 months of misery and depression would cause more damage and stress to an unborn child than being monitored by a high risk OBGYN! I had the Top High Risk specialist OBGYN doctor in the state if NY! I surely trust him & his staff over a delusional drug addict claiming to be a nurse! Your nasty defensive attitude obviously shows you have issues and need to be medicated with a mood stabilizer rather than anxiety medication!

It also depends on your insurance insurances usally wont refill a medication before 80% of it being gone i have gotten two xanax refills a week early and one 10 days early as long as my insurance okays it

Lost ativan prescription 2mg x3, 15 days early, i know it's to early to refill, fear of withdrawel been on a year, is there a soloution of any kind, any help appreciated

Suzy depending on your relationship with Dr and he believes you its legit He can right you a different dosage ( more ) AND you could get it refilled then go back to normal next month I did it once with zanex before i got off of it .I didnt lose mine someone clipped them from me.I told him the truth I was also getting random UA's and had been there over 5 years so he knew me very well & i had never asked him before or since

I have my xanex out for the 13th can i get them filled three days early? I have no insurance and i am paying out of pocket but have to leave town...any advice?

You should be ok 3 days early that is within the tolerance as far as I know unless its changed in the last few months II dont take it anymore

As long as you don't usually get it refilled early. If you do, the pharmacist may make you wait.

Unfortunately, Adam you're S.O.L. If you "lost" your medication, that just it, its your loss. If it was stolen then you need a police report for your doctor to cover his or her ass.

I live in a very dangerous City and break-ins, especially for drugs is common. I have had to store my spare Xanax off site now. I can replace almost everything I own yet can't replace my extra alprazolam that I sadly need!

in my state it is 85% consumed and are the 90 day supplies divided into 3 30 day supplies or a full 90 day?? In my state you can get a 90 day supply after 60 days. My doctor turned into a **** about klonopin and doesn't give refills anymore. She used to give me a lot of Ativan too but now I get 10 to take with Haldol. She had no issue having 540 focalin or dexedrine tablets written during the shortage but Adderall tablets, she is a ***** about it too. I took desoxyn during the shortage and she had no issue there even though they were worthless but she is a freak about me being on 90 mg of adderall although 80 mg of dexedrine or 60 mg of desoxyn was fine.

You are so wrong.Every Pharmacy in the town I live in fills ALL prescription 3 days early.Even Xanax.

It's a different dosage so your insurance should cover it!

Pooh I just did some quick research for you ( nored ) and i couldnt find anywhere on the web where it said your not allowed to break or split your dose Like so many others. So since you are going to a lower your dose Im not sure they would cover it unless they overlap each other. Just go all they can say is No Most NEW scripts are covered

You have to fill it every 30 days use it or not. All drug stores are connected now they know if you doctor shop or try to fill somewhere else. You committed a felony by giving a scheduled drug to someone else .take your friend to the doctor she may have depression and need totality different medicine .
