That is correct, this contains 20mgs of Prednisone, a corticosteroid, commonly used to treat allergic reactions and swelling.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, acne and weight gain.

I'm not certain you understand the wide variety of maladies or the many complications this drug carries.

It's used commonly as a anti-inflammatory for serious lung and breathing afflictions as well as many other diseases. It also puts the patient at risk for many delayed but long term side affects. The short term affects are brusing, bleeding excessively from minor scrapes and scratches, sleeplessness, loss of appetite and many other short term effects. Long term and in heavier doses it can bring on cataracts, Osteoporosis, Steroid Diabetes and a whole host of serious issues.
I've been taking this drug for several years as required for Serious Breathing problems and there's times when I hate having to use it. It was understated as to it's ill-effects when I started and only developed further complications that were identified as "Prednisone Related", as I experienced them. Some, I had no idea about. It's been awful at times. I can only take solice in the fact that I'm still breathing I write this.

Hope things are better for you by now . . Im struggling with frequent anaphalactic shocks . . put on steroids - think reacting even to them . . my comfort is in Bibles promise of new heavens and new earth . . revelation chapter 21:verses1-4 . . dont think of Jehovahs people as strange ( tho none come stanger than me ) lol. . . talk to them , ask them to explain scripture to you . . If you heart is receptive Jehovah will help you understand his word th Bible with help n guidance he will offer you . . we are all suffering in these 'last days' sighing and gtowning together . . but this system is soon to lick the dust . .
