I cannot find an identification for this exact pill, but I can tell you that pills marked with a 44 followed by additional numbers are over the counter items.

I spilled my daily medication this morning and found one of the pills you described when crawling on the floor. I couldn't find any information online either. It turned out to be CVS Extra Strength Headache Relief coated caplets. I'm not in the medical field but I hope that helps.
