I cannot find an ID for this specific pill, however, I can tell you that those marked with a 44, followed by additional numbers are over the counter products.

I've found them in the same bottle as the 44 438 Ibuprofen 200 in white tablet form.

If you look at the label, it's orange and white, yet the label stated "color free & dye free". This was from lot #P33051 3/06. I've discarded these.

My first thought when I opened the bottle: Apparently someone had a sense of humor and decided to package the contents to match the label of the bottle I found in my Grandmother's OTC supply. That's cool marketing.

My Second thought: Hey WAIT! Which one do I take? Is one a placebo and the other one real? If so, why do they play games with our pain. This is unethical.

Another question that arises is: If the above hypothetical scenario is occurring today, why the cruelty....or is it greed?

Are they still doing this w/ out the color coding resulting in not only ineffective OTC pain relief but EXCESS Expense to the Consumer, Harm to the body causing the individual to consume in excess and Cushioned Gold Lined and Filled Pockets to the Manufacturer which trickles down to the government lobbyists to put more harmful drugs on the market.

Frankly, I'd be a bit upset and perhaps even confused w/ out further clarification, especially as a Senior Citizen. T

To top it off....the more I think about what I have just stated above; this may just be the reason many individuals state they are not able to achieve relief w/ out a prescription for stronger medicine landing more money into their pockets.
