I Took 9 Percocet 10 325

I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay?

I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. What would overdose symptoms be. Could 50 mg over 2 1/2 to 3 hours possibly be fatal? Should I go to the hospital? I have tried (with no success) self induced vomiting to no avail. Now I am drinking quarts of water. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I really can't stress it enough on here, if you're afraid for your life/health or that of a loved one, please contact poison control your go to your nearest emergency treatment facility.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I think you'll be fine. I've seen on cable broadcasts about this and no harm to you. I****s do it on the street 10 at a time in 30 minute intervals. Thing is, you're prescribed them which means your body needs them. You've probably built a tolerance of them by now. Worse to worse, drink and eat a lot if you're afraid you've over done it. If you still feel bad effects, contact poison control. Take them as it says! What I said doesn't mean you can take them as you wish. Know what you're doing!

Your definitely good I eat 100 mg 3-4 times a day. So 10 to 20 at once

I take Percocet 10-325 (1 every 6 hours), but my pain level doesn't go down. My pain level stays between 6 and 8. Please reply if you have any suggestions or feedback.

Publix pharmacies in Florida have changed their 10-325 Percocet manufacturer. The new manufacturer is Mayne Pharma. This medicine does not work. Anyone experiencing problems with the medication please contact the FDA!

You should be fine. I'm on them long term for spine problems. My doctor has had me on 30 mg 4x/day. I'm on 10 now. You may sense an increase in tolerance for a day or two. It's the Tylenol that you need to worry about. You cannot exceed 4,000 mg in 24 hours. Watch out if you have preexisting liver damage. Otherwise, you're fine. This happens to people that go home after surgery.

OMG! That is way too many! I'm able to up to 4 per day, but I only do 2 per day, sometimes 3. I've been on them for 30 years. When I've done 4 per day, it didn't feel any better. But the pain specialist have taken me off the good meds (vicoden). I've been through withdrawals too many times. It's good to have some backup, so you can wean yourself off slowly. My pain doctor said he didn't know if they will keep giving out the oxycodone for much longer. They have a new law that you can't take xanax if you are on oxycodone. I'm in California. That effects me also.
