My neurologist said to me I don't know about you but I would never let someone cut open my spine. I hated him so I went for the fusion operation. Wish I never did but SOMA is disliked by medical doctors because it has very little therapeutic value. Also components of Soma break down into another controlled medicine from the 70s, Miltown. The only good thing about SOMA is they are not super addictive.

So you are worse now after the surgery than before?? Great... I was thinking surgery was my saving grace... I don't warn to be stuck on pills my whole life!!! :/ I don't know what to do....

I guess the bottom line is I ordered from India once and the package came with about 20 Indian Stamps on it and a slip that said SOMA. I would never under the new Federal Law order SOMA now a Schedule 4 medicine? I would be too worried?

Getting spinal surgery was the worst thing I have ever done! No one should slit open your throat to work on your back! SOMA does help but even my guy has been a little hesitant to write for SOMA. California should be a no problem State as long as you pay cash!

I'm in the Golden State too, and there are no special laws here. Doctor Shopping is when you go to more than one to obtain the medicine you require which you would not do! Nothing illegal in getting a second opinion or going to another doctor. I had free Kaiser for two years and somehow they never told the pharmacy I was no longer welcome. I had discovered early on the Soma was not being sent to my doctor for refills, just always approved! Now I pay about $3 for a bottle of 100

Endless bottles! Yeah, mine was Kaiser, but when they stopped, they simply had no more... Period! Out of state? But the DEA will catch that, won't they? I live in California and there's a big goal to stop "Dr shopping"... I feel defeated. Pot's ok, but try and get the muscle relaxant you need for a collapsed disc and you practically get thrown in prison! And the more I go without an effective muscle relaxant- and I've tried them all- the more my muscles clamp down on the vertebrae causing more discs to collapse. Yes... I need surgery, but I'm not feeling very confident with putting my life in another person's hands... Especially when the dollar is the bottom line! Whatever happened to the American Health Care System????

My HMO gave out endless bottles. When my Kaiser coverage stopped they still gave me SOMA for two years? Granted things have changed and no I am not DEA. Go outside your HMO and find a Pain doc or a regular Doctor that can assist, even if that means crossing State lines?

So a friend of mine told me that the DEA often chats in theses places pretending to be just a regular person to catch people... Now I've been flagged by customs. You're not a DEA agent are you? If so, good job... I now can look forward to terrific pain in my neck since I can't get soma through my HMO anymore. If you're not... What gives... I just start trying to get a few pills, you've been doing it for years, and I get caught! I just can't win! I would make a terrible criminal!

I've received two small orders from two different places, but my third, larger order was stopped by customs. I got a letter stating I can forfeit it or fight it... Yeah, right. So I figure I'm flagged and it doesn't matter where I order from, as long as it's coming from outside the US it'll be stopped...:/

I thought you got a different one as well? I don't think they check anything, especially if the slip taped to the package declares what is supposedly inside. Of course with international packages coming through to the USPS anything can be opened?

Not only is it not against the 4th amendment to open your package, Customs puts a piece of paper on the package and it said Carisoprodol on it. No need to inspect further?

So that sounds like a question, which I share with you... Do we know if they care so much about a schedule IV that they cannot be sure of... They X-ray it... Looks like pills, but it's wrapped up in bubble wrap so they can't tell what it is... Dogs sniff and get nothing. They can stick a small camera into the corner but with the wrapping can't tell if it's controlled human meds or something for your dog. Do they open it against the 4th amendment for the hopes of just a schedule 4? And, I would argue, without probable cause... What do you think? Are we safe???

You're not going to believe this... Well, maybe you will. My package... The second one I can't track from superdrugsaver, was sitting at the PO for a week! My postman did not leave a slip! I finally got through to the place and they said there was a delivery attempt last week! Well, at least I wasn't ripped off... And they are way cheaper. Oh, and I guess it's not actually a feather... Kind of... More like silver and off white flames... Whatever... So I have one delivery... Still waiting on customs for the other...
