Oxycontin 15mg Need Help
UpdatedI'm taking the 15mg extended release OxyContin for severe back pain and degenerative disc disease as I was switched from 10 mg 10/325 Percocet BUT the switch is not working for me, I have not been getting relief and am still in pain, is this normal? My Dr is giving me a hard time now about writing me the prescriptions and has literally ignored my diagnosis as she claims the state of Vermont is cracking down on these types of meds... Which what the hell does that have to do with me? I'm taking them for the massive constant pain I'm in and still can't even work back to full time yet... So basically I'm being pushed aside as because I told her being my Dr, that it's not working and why can't I take the meds 10/325 Percocet that were working better for my pain that she claims she now doesn't see a need for me to prescribe me the medication I need to just be able to get through a day and I mean barely, I'm always uncomfortable and in paid and now this... In this state if you go to a different dr or a new Dr or even the ER, they will NOT help you! I'm suffering and am told , sorry I can't help you and act as if I'm doing something wrong because I'm in pain? Can anyone suggest something that I might do or try to help me out with this issue? I mean, I can't suffer everyday and I pay a lot for my insurance and if I can't work due to the pain, I'm breaking the new VERMONT LAW that requires you to have medical insurance and I'd lose everything I've worked for... And I'm not trying to do anything except be out of pain. I'm told, there's nothing I can do but I have to and there has to be a solution, doesn't there? I'm at the point where I'm going to have to move out of Vermont because of this crap but I'm afraid it will happen if I go somewheres else too and I get anxiety over this because I'm in pain and nobody seems to want to help. I have also asked for further diagnostics but the orthopedics say there's nothing they can do for me with surgery and to go back and see my PCP - Dr ... But I'm getting the run around and again, I was just told by the nurse, " your doctor isn't going to write you anymore prescriptions"... Yet I'm in pain and have been diagnosed... Any suggestions? Anyone! PLEASE HELP ME!!
