Oxycodone With Acetaminophen U16

I have a 7.5mg oxycodone with acetaminophen (U16 on the pill). I need to know if I can cut this in half? I have looked everywhere to see if it is IR or XR and cant find a thing.

It's IR, and yes it can be cut in half

thanks ash, I appreciate the response. Usually well it seems they used to say if the pill was immediate release or timed release. I looked everywhere but i hoped that somebody out there takes it. Now I can take 1/2 when i am not in too much pain.

No problem i had them a few times. Not my favorite. Actually fought with riteaid - they didnt work to well for me, however, they took over watson brand

Well I hope that is not a problem for me but i have one friend that agrees with you. I am just being changed from 5 mg to these 7.5 ones. I havent used them yet. I know that some pills dont work for some people, I mean they dont absorb well. For me, its K18s and i hate it. I didnt know that this company took over watson. They are pretty big and well liked by alot of people. Thanks for responding.

Pardon me for jumping into the conversation so late, but I just wanted to respond to post #3 in that the U16 oxycodone + acetaminophen (7.5/325mg) pills are reportedly manufactured by Aurolife Pharma; who from my investigation has had no association with Watson Pharmaceuticals. I think you may have been referring to Actavis, since this is who Watson changed their name to after the acquisition of Actavis. You can look this up on google for verification. I hope this helps clear things up for other readers who may not be quite as familiar with the different companies who make these.

This Oxycodone/Apap U16 is slow absorbing, does not come up in normal U/A's and is very ineffective. 1 pill gave me detox symptoms for 3 to 4 days, like methadone.

I'm confused about how oxycodone acetaminophen 7.5 pills work in the sense of Brands I guess I would say.. for the last 2 months I've been taking pill number IP2 07.. I got a refill prescription and now it's pill number u16 and it's bigger the bottle says oxycodone acetaminophen 7.5 325... is this the same kind of medication just two different brands can somebody please help me to understand if it's still the same kind of pain med if it works the same it really seems like I can tell. Yetit's only been a day.. and seems like this bigger one is hurting my stomach... any help much appreciated thank you

Rite ade sucks. I’m on Percocet 7.5/325 I had my back fused with two rods. My sons took my prescription in and they made them feel Iike they are drug addicts all because I’m on sima for spasms in my back and left leg the nerves were damaged and since surgery has released the nerves now I have spasms big as a football in my low back I’m also on Ativan for ptsd.

I broke my ankle on Monday May 7, 2018 and went to er they gave me Norco 10 and those helped my pain and I've taken Norco before but I went to the orthopedic doctor and he prescribed me Percocets 7.5 -3.25 mg and I've never had those before so I was wondering if I can cut the pill in half to find out how I feel and see about the side affects cause to be honest I am scared to take this medicine
