Oxycodone V Cut

Is it ok to cut a v 48 11 in half? And also will it be ok to do normal activities after I take a half?

Hi kay,

Usually if there is a score line (divid) embedded into the tablet, it means the manufacturer purposely made it so patients could easily cut it in half. Since this particular tablet is scored, I would personally feel safe doing so.

Regarding your concerns about doing normal activities afterwards, there's really no way to know ahead of time how this medication is going to effect you (since it really can effect each person differently). Taking half seems like a good place to start though, if you want to assess how your body reacts/responds to a smaller dose of it, before committing to the full amount.

Some people may feel like their abilities to perform tasks and drive a vehicle are impaired while taking these types of medications. However, other's with a higher tolerance to pain meds may not have any problems at all continuing with their everyday lives.

Thank you! I have taken hydrocodone in the past and I can take 10mg without a problem I just wonder if after I cut this thing in half ho much stronger than a hydrocodone would it be? You wouldn't happen to know would you?
