Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 57)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

Hey Robert, I also live in Kentucky. Probably a different part. I'm from Hueysville. You probably never heard of if but I'd like some info, if any. It's appreciated greatly.

I'm in south central ky the doc I had for years sold his practice to the hospital (that I also worked at) and has been instructed by senior leadership not to write reoccurring narcotic scripts and if the patient needs treatment for say chronic pain refer them to the local pain clinic (that the hospital also owns) he may or may not write a script for u just long enough to get u in the pain clinic. The clinic I saw in Michigan im not sure exactly where it is a buddy and I saw it as we drove down 8 mile, we got off i-75 and drove down 8mile to get gas and that's when we noticed the security guards in vehicles patrolling a small parking lot 2 guards in one small lot, he'll that was in July of last year it may not even be there now.

When I was at my worst taking pills I was taking 5-6 80s a day and functioned with a full time job now that I'm off them I feel so much better( I must confess I sure miss the nods and occasionally I get the urge to take something ) I'm not saying i don't take anything because I do every now and then after all I've got two full blown out disc and if I over do it I'm screwed, I've taken a few oxys maybe about 30 since December I'll get 6-10 at a time and each time I take the last one I'm already wanting another that goes to show I cant have a big bottle of them to take as needed I cant control myself and I kinda have the urge for several days after i stop so really not worth it I've gotten so I only take any if I'm in really bad pain (you know like you're suppose to do lol)

It makes me sick to think back at the money I've blown on pain pills I've done a rough estimate and I'm ashamed to say I've been hooked for 20 years but only hooked on oxys and Roxys for about 10 years I averaged $295 a day estimated and at 10 yr, 10yr x 365 days= 3,650 days x $295= you get the idea it's over a million, wtf I must be nuts I've wasted so much money and that's not the worst of it 20 yr of my life gone I can never get those times back my little boy is nearly grown my wife has been thru hell and back, the one person that will stand side by side with me no matter what I have been so mean to her. My family deserves so much more from me, i hope I can give them everything they deserve, sorry I'm rambling on im just proud of myself for getting to where Im at I knew when I statred taking to many pills I denied the fact and played it off that I need them I'm in pain I got a bad back blah blah blah the fact is I was over medicating and had to take Meds to be normal. Well enough rambling I hope I help someone get to where I'm at if u want to be here.

I have chronic pain. A lot of bulg discs, with degenerative disc disease of the thoracic lumbar. I've been on 30mg roxycodone and 2mg xanxax for 6 years. My doctor is gone. I live in Louisville, ky. Do u know any cash doctors near me that take cash or passport? {edited for privacy}

Sorry I don't know any docs in louisville that write scripts. my docs ex wife is a neurosurgeon in loisville but I don't know squat on her, sorry. I was fortunate enough to have 3 docs over the years. So when one would move off I'd see the next one (not dr shopping I mean I'd see that one until they left or retired) my last doc I saw him for about 9 years, u may want to look online in your area. people talk. you'll see quick who's writing scripts. only bad thing is when word gets out the doc writes they'll being the state will put pressure on the doc. the government controls who gets the Meds. I heard just this week there's a doc around Frankfort that's writing for roxycodone 30s and zany bars. not sure of the name, but I'll ask my buddy.

They are taking are doctors away in Kentucky because of the drug addicts using opiates and od-ing. They have needle exchanges for these people which is a crox. This is all a ploy to force us to go to the methadone clinic so the government can get there cut of the money. we as pain patients did not create the opioid epidemic but we are the ones that are getting punished for it. bulls***

I know for a fact that most doctors in the somerset/ Danville area won't write scripts because most of them are partners in the suboxone clinics and make a ton more money seeing you there than in a family practice clinic.
All about the freaking dollar its Florida all over again except the docs are making bank.
I've worked in health care most of my adult life I could tell you stories that would piss off the pope that's happen, there are legitimate patients that need opiate medication that's what it's for anyway but they look at the most profitable way to extort the system even the so called non profit organizations do it. Ephraim McDowell in Danville had cut backs almost two years ago cutting nearly 40 positions in its mid to upper management only to give their senior leadership a 17% pay increase this was not their annual raise it was a annual bonus and you take the CEO already was making 800,000 per year yes 800,000 a year add another 17% to that u know another 136,000 a yr then they cut 40 jobs that's bullsh*t

Need a pain management dr. Who will take walk ins or van get in fast to see in the baton rouge LA or new Orleans LA or even Lafayette area. If any one knows of one please let me know.

@Danielle yes for ppl who don't have pain suboxone is a great alternative, but it does nothing for pain. I know from experience and if end up chronic rath an acute pain it will be damn near impossible to get rx d any opiate meds as they will label you. But if u r honest with yourself and your pain is acute subs are a great way to get your life back in order

I agree with your post for the most part but if you are in pain and need to be put back on opiates and taken off suboxone yes some will label you as a addict but there's no evidence of you ever being on suboxone 6 months after your last filled script (or at least that's the timeline for a Casper report in kentucky) so 6 months after your last suboxone script your clear, this is my second day coming off suboxone I've been cutting my dosage for some time now and I'm down to 1/4 strip every 2 or 3 days now I hope I don't need anymore, wish me luck

So true! No one should suffer unnecessarily!
I think all elected officials should have to be drug tested every three days; only the ones who really need drugs then can't have them...
Maybe then the Lobbiest may lose their "Porkers'" money and decent citizens can be helped with real pain relievers! It won't happen though.... Good luck all of you who truly suffer!

I need the name of this doctor please. Been going to pain clinics since 2002 now the last one was closed down I was on 120 30s and 60 1 mg xanaxs for 5 years now off cold turkey. In pain I have MRI s and records to prove it. Doctors here will not write anything but hydro and it does nothing for my pain.
