My opana at the pharmacy is 1,500.00, with co-pay it is 50.00. Plus because of the expense the pharmacist will not keep it on the shelf, I have to let him know i am coming in a few days before hand so he can order it.

I am taking an Opana 30mg twice daily prescibed by my doctor, and this month my pharmacy which is contracted to have my medicine, did not only not have it,but within a 3hour radius from my town noone had any,and didnt know when some more would be available. What are patients like myself going to do about finding and filling our medicine!

I take Opana 40 ER twice a day and I too feel like I have a hangover ALL THE TIME. It's very different from the old formula and I hate it!

Do you drink alcohol? What other medications or supplements are you taking?

Have been taking Opana-ER for several months now and really can not tell if it is having an effect or not. I also take generic Percs 10/350 4/day and do notice that I do not have to take my Percs so regularly so I assume that the Opana is working, lessening my pain so I'm not going for the Percs more often. I have a bad back (truck driver) and have been on opioids for several years so tolerance is also an issue. With insurance a 30-day supply is $40. But the down side is I can only find it at the hospital pharmacy, no CVS/Walgreens will carry it. Fortunately my doctor is associated with the hospital so his patients get first rights to supply and hosp. is not far. Just my side of the story.
