Hi Number 3! No, it's not in your head. That's one of the side effects of being off suboxone. It can last awhile, every one is different. How long were you on the suboxone for? Other than lack of energy, how are you feeling?

New here. I have been on Subutex for 7 years. I am trying to get off. It has been 5 days since I had any and weaned before that. I STILL feel like my body is made of lead. I'm so close but can't handle this lack of energy and my legs hurt..... I'm so tempted to call the doctor for an appointment to get back on. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

im 45 days off subs. i jumped at taking 8 to 12 mgs a day & was on them for 5 yrs. my energy level is still pretty low but not as bad as it was. your energy is usually about the last thing to fully get back to normal. the leg pain is also normal during the acute w/d period. my acute w/d lasted around 20-22 days but it did start easing up some each day around the 16th day id say. the way i done it is i didnt take no comfort meds at all & let my body do what it needed to do to heal itself. after the acute w/d its mostly the mental part of it like anxiety, depression, but not all people get this but most do but everyone is different. my biggest thing right now is not being able to sleep which they say is 1 of the last things to straighten out also. im 45 days in & i was scared to death to make the jump but now im glad i did! i still have some time to go but i know i can do it! once you get thru the acute w/d its really all mental. if you can hang on thru that then you got this! that has been the worse for me but is getting better! for the leg pain try an otc pain reliever & some people say those hot patches work for them.
