well the pill i have is white and oblong and it says ns1 and im wondering what it is

It's is a carafate. It is to coat the stomach and help with acid

Wanda is correct. This tablet is manufactured by Nostrum Laboratories and they list it as containing 1g of sucralfate, a generic for Carafate.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness, flatulence and diarrhea.
