Not Taking Suboxone But Testing Positive For It

I went to get treatment for heroin addiction today at a methadone clinic and may god strike me dead have not taken suboxone in a loooong time and they refused treatment due to my urinalysis coming up positive for soboxone. The only thing I take besides heroin is klonopin which ia prescribed. Can anyone tell me why it is showing suboxone in my system if I have not taken it so I can get treatment? ?? I cant do suboxone it makes me sick and I need to quit the heroin before its too late.

HELP! I have NEVER taken Suboxone in my life. I've never even seen it in real life. After 5 years of clean urine screens for pain management, I suddenly tested positive for it in June. I swore to my doctor I hadn't taken Suboxone or anything else not prescribed to me (because it was and is true) he said he had never seen a false positive but that he was inclined to believe me and would run more specific tests. I went back in a few days ago and he said that I had tested positive a second time, that Suboxone contains a very specific molecule that cannot be misidentified and that he would chalk it up to adulterants in my medications if other patients had tested positive, but no one else had. I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe me anymore. He was willing to send one more sample to another lab, but if it comes back positive he has to discontinue my pain meds. I am taking Zoloft, Xanax, Perphenazine (generic Trilifon), Trazodone, Oxymorphone, Oxycodone, Zyrtec, Excedrin, Sudafed, multivitamins, calcium and magnesium. I stand to lose the Oxycodone and Oxymorphone and, given the severity of the pain I'm facing, that literally puts my life on the line. I feel completely powerless because I never put Suboxone in or on my body in the first place, meaning there is nothing I can do to fix this. I'm scared to death and I don't know where to turn. Please DO NOT give me advice on getting away with taking Suboxone because I can't use it and I don't want it. PLEASE DO respond with ANY information or advice you may have for someone who really is not taking Suboxone and is testing positive for it

I think the reason they won't take you is because you're coming up positive for klonopin, which is a benzo. And benzos mixed with methadone (or suboxone) is a no-no and they wont give you methadone as long as a benzo is in your system. Are you sure you're understanding them exactly? Because it looks to me like a little confusion on your part, but if that klonopin is your system, you won't get methadone anywhere till it's out.

I don't know with some of these tests. They have a 20% fail ratio. I had a test supposedly from my last doctor, that showed pretty much I was on every opiate known to man! I knew it was wrong. Because I'm the only one who would know. Actually my husband and my children and my parents knew also. Unfortunately doctors do not believe that any test ever fails. It's like they are on remote control sometimes when they are practicing medicine. I even asked my doctor to do a blood test and he refused. Years ago one of my urine and I told him not unless you took that urine from 32 years ago it did not. Did not matter. There's no way he made a mistake and there's just no way the lab made a mistake and God forbid that test failed. Oh no he was just a thousand percent sure that I had taken it. It hurts when a doctor calls you a liar and an addict and that you are dishonest, especially when you know personally that there's no way anything could be in your system because you did not take anything at all! This makes me so sad that doctors are so beyond paranoid, they don't look at the scientific facts anymore.
