Nj Pain Dr Near Northern

Hi I need a new pain dr in northern nj. I lost mine after there years for rescheduling my apt three times? Anyways I'm on a lot of meds that need to be refilled ASAP. I've talked to a lot of places that have no Rx on first visit or need to see a psych first. I just need to get in to see a dr and then I can worry about that later

Yes, that makes sense. Most doctors do limit how many times you can reschedule or miss appointments. Their practices tend to be very busy and there is a limited number of people they can see. Each missed appointment without much notice means money lost for that time slot.

And, if you're calling and asking upfront about them prescribing medications, then most won't even let you get in the door, because doctors and their staff are taught to view that as being drug seeking behavior.

You'll really need to set up an appointment with a new doctor, without asking upfront about them prescribing your medications, then discuss your treatment options at the actual appointment. If you make sure they get a full copy of your current medical records, once they see what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, they will be more prone to prescribed accordingly.

However, there are no guarantees that they will prescribe anything for you, either on the first visit, or any subsequent ones.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone?

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

I have no idea why but I never saw your reply to my post? so now almost 9mo later I onus a new dr for like 5mo but then he had his license suspended? so now I'm back to square one and searching the phillipsburg area for a new legit dr? does anyone know of any? and I don't Ever ask up front if they prescribe and rx but unfortunately now when I say my last dr name they are all well aware of him n it makes me look rly bad.
