Need To Find A Doctor That Prescribes Pain Meds In Knoxville Tn (Page 7)

I just moved here and i have ra along with degenerative disc disorder that is extremely painful. I dont have a doc. so i haven't been taking any meds and it is hard to just walk. I am in pain everyday and need relief fast. Is there anyone y'all can suggest that may be able to help now?

hello Katherine,
try this clinic. They just opened from the information that I recently received. They are only 275 a month and I think an xtra fee for the drug testing.I believe 25.00. They do require all the proper documentation. You could probably get an appt. this tues. or thurs. They only are open at the moment ...twice a week. Can't really tell you about the doctor or his or hers bedside manners...etc...Here is the phone number I was given...located in north Knoxville.....1-865-851-8508...I was told if they don't answer that you are to leave a message and they will contact you back the same day..etc....best of luck to you.

I don't know any specific detail about tier one...but I have heard allot of negative remarks and comments about their practices. So just be sure about your decision because 400 is 400 out of pocket....could go good for you or not. I just wanted to be honest to you about what has been said throughout some of these blogs.

HELLO. I JUST READ YOUR POST. I AM 6 YEARS OLD AND TOTALLY BED-RIDDEN. I HAVE NOT WALKED IN OVER 6 YEARS NOW DO TO HEALTH AND EXTREME CHRONIC PAIN. I TAKE MORPHINE 100MG 3 TIMES A DAY AND O .OXYCODONE 30 MG 4 TIMES A DAY AND I'M LOOKING FOR A NEW DOCTOR AS THE DOCTOR I SEE NOW IS SELLING HIS PRACTICE SOON. How or why would a Dr just come to the conclusion that you're doctor shopping? Isn't it your right to try and find a Dr to fit your needs? If you have already gone through all of the options most places want to start you with ( physical therapy, shots, etc) and they haven't worked, why go through them again. And if you have been discharged from a clinic for reasons that have been stretched to fit their rules after the clinic has been taken over by someone else 2-3 times, what are you supposed to do? It's been made almost impossible to get in to a doctor that will help you, because of all the B.S. But, until that Dr sees you, and that should be a free consultation, how can they judge you? It's getting to the point that telling the truth and being honest is getting you screwed, so it's no wonder it's like this. Any intelligent person knew this was going to happen as soon as the govt started sticking their nose into none of their business, MY HEALTH CARE, AMONG OTHER PERSONAL THINGS!!!

I would like to know also. The thing is, my mom, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother all have degenerative disc disease and all found out when they were around my age. I having been having similar pain to this disease and I need a pain consultant that will take Tenncare, and that will take XRays or whatever i need to find out whats wrong. anyone have any advice?

DILAUDID.. IT'S GREAT MEDICINE AND NO TYLENOL OR OXYCONTIN..IT'S OXYCODONE W NO ACETAMINOPHEN... WONDERFUL PAIN MEDS!

Good morning. I just recently moved to Knoxville. I was in an almost fatal car accident in December while visiting my mother in December. After the initial injuries (fractures, internal bruising, broken bone) were relieved, My Doctor also found again that I do have hyper-laxity, RA. I have been taking just Oxycontin 10 and 20 mg (nothing added) for all of this chronic pain until this week when I needed to visit a DR at a walk-in clinic to refill my medication. At the time I thought that it would be easy, I had all x-rays etc, but he acted as if I was seeking narcotics and only gave my Hydrocodone on Sunday. I had been with the same Dr for the past six months and never treated this way. Please anyone from the Knoxville area tell me where to go to have my medication prescribed. I am in constant pain and the hydrocodone 10-325 helped a little but also gave me tremendous swelling? Thank you so much.

I have arthritis in my ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders, just about all over my body. Need a doctor that is willing to take new patients help with my arthritis, I have been taking Percocet (10/325) for the last year. Anyone know of any doctors that might help?

here is a phone number to a pain management clinic etc..etc...located in North Knoxville tn. I believe they have only been open for about three months or so and are suppose to be taking in new Patients. one,eight six five, eight five one,eight five zero eight....friendly and professional....they took my mother in law in the very next day....
