Need To Find A Doctor That Prescribes Pain Meds In Knoxville Tn (Page 6)

I just moved here and i have ra along with degenerative disc disorder that is extremely painful. I dont have a doc. so i haven't been taking any meds and it is hard to just walk. I am in pain everyday and need relief fast. Is there anyone y'all can suggest that may be able to help now?

While this is all too true and I absolutely totally agree, that if the junkies wanna get high then they should stay away from docs and just do street drugs, I really haven't seen anyone on here pandering for docs just so they can get high. I guess they deleted Marge's post also cuz I have no clue when or where she said she had extras. Anyways, I would surely hope that the people on here are legit and not just looking for a quick high.

hey I am moving back to Knoxville tn in a few weeks and i am in need of a good doc that prescribes REAL PAIN MEDS,i don't give a s*** if anyone thinks im a junkie.i have a broken c-5 vert. and in dire need of surgery on my right shoulder due to a car accdnt.i scream out in pain through out the day every day and plus I have five kids that are in sports and I feel horrible that I cant even play ball with them,but what really gets me down is I can barely use my right arm and it makes me feel like a big pansy,so if anyone knows a good doc that takes cash and is taking new paitients......please and thank you....

I live in tn also n am currently going to Synergy pc....need to switch asap...not controlling my pain.....im also a Dialysis pt w/ several other diseases n circumstances that require high narcotics to controlled my pain.

hello Nancy I hope u have had some luck finding a better pain mngt. facility. If you haven't there is a new clinic opening and accepting new clients at the end of march 2014. only credit cards accepted till they get approved to take clients with insurance. 275 for initial visit and 25.00 for drug screens. basically 300.00 a month. if interested in making an appointment .... call 865-240-3357 to acquire all the details needed etc.....wishing you the best

just responding to your post in early feb. If your still looking for a new pain mngt. facility try looking under the health/medical classified business ads in the Knoxville Tn. thrifty nickel/ American classified ads. New ads coming out around the 20th. of march, 2014.
I have had past success in those classified ads in the past. I am actually a research analyst for a major fortune 500 company, and recall seeing many ads in the past posted in those newspapers above listed... best wishes for you and your health

I'm not sure which clinic you're talking about, but Active Pain Treatment in Knoxville off the Cedar Bluff exit is very good. They take most insurances, wait time is minimal, and the staff is very helpful and caring. I highly recommend (though some on here don't)! I've been there over 5 years and have never had the first problem. Good luck to you!

Hey Spyder, there is an ad in the Knoxville tn. thrifty nickel pg. 4 near top of page...You should give them a call...I believe they are a legite clinic and require all the proper medical records etc...etc...You do know that doctor shopping is illegal....if any doctor is given this perception...they will turn you away....I've heard they are only 275 a month...I really couldn't tell you much more than that....read post 110 on this blog...I've given info. on the ad to someone else in the recent past....my best wishes to your health.

Need to find a "good" pain management clinic. In "good" I mean a doctor who is compasionate, knowledgeable, sympathetic and doesn't discriminate based on age. I am 33 years old and have been going to a pain management clinic for the last 3 years. The doctor retired and disappeared without notice. I am prescribed high dosage narcotics for my back problems. I spoke with Tier One and they want me to come in on Monday. I have all of the necessary documentation (several mri's, xray, ct scans etc). I don't want to spend $400 and get ripped off. Does anyone go to Tier One or know of any other pain management clinics that could help? I am willing to travel anywhere in the North East TN area. If you reply to my post in a derogatory manner you are waisting your time. All I need is info/help with finding a good doctor that is sympathetic. Thank you.
